Jim Courier: “Can I Get a Legal Opinion?”

Jim Courier: “Can I Get a Legal Opinion?”

You know we love Steve Nash.  Well, we also love Jim Courier.  He's not just one of our favorite broadcasters but one of our favorite people, in or out of sports.

While Johnny Mac may be the most entertaining listen during a live men's tennis match, Jim is our favorite listen when it comes to discussing a match, before or after.  He has a broader view of sports than practically any other analyst on the air, he's opinionated, has a command of facts and figures, and has an almost Costas-ian sense of context.

Jim's also is one of our favorite athletes to follow on Twitter, because he RT's articles and raises issues about all sorts of stuff in and out of sports.

Recently Jim's been wondering about Twitter itself — specifically about people screwing with other people's tweets:

One thing Twitter must address: the ability for RT's to be edited...mayhem could ensue if that isn't fixed. As Twitter grows and...s quoted in the press, it is quite important that ReTweets are locked for accuracy. Otherwise, I hope they have great lawyers standing by.

And then not just broadcasting out, he asks:

CAN I GET A LEGAL OPINION?

Jim tends to follow up on his topics, so I'm sure this is a thread that he return to.

Oh, and as for our claim about Jim being a great analyst, we bring you the below.

Even though it's a year old, it's still a tremendous listen. (And Jim's dead on the mark both with his prediction for the U.S. Open and for his fears about Rafa Nadal's body breaking down):
