Dream On

For all you ladies who have been sitting at home, pining, counting the minutes so that every fifth day you can stare longingly at those chiseled Adonis-like features of Barry Zito, thinking dreamily, "Maybe, someday," we bring you sad news from the Jockosphere.  It would appear that it is your destiny to just go right on dreaming.  As of recently, the most handsome bachelor in all of baseball is spoken for.

Yesterday, Barry tweets the following and includes a link with the picture below:

My new girlfriend, she's real pretty.

So, sorry ladies, but I wouldn't take it personally.  It doesn't really matter who you are, there was never any competing with that.

But take comfort, despite your shattered dreams.  Barry, something of a philosopher, has this to say on the subject.  He tweets:

Next time you dream lucidly try changing the lighting. not too easy

You would all be wise to heed Barry's advice.  That is, if you have any idea what it means.
