CHAD OCHOCINCO PLAYING A DIFFERENT TYPE OF FUTBOL
Could Chad Ochocinco be joining Landon Donovan in the MLS soon? The disgruntled receiver, upset over the NFL lockout, has decided to take his talents to the MLS, and is currently trying out for Sporting Kansas City, a publicity-hungry team.
Ocho has flirted with soccer before, and has professed his love for the sport time and time again. He played a lot growing up, but gave it up to focus on American football (the real football). He even kicked an extra point in a preseason game last season:
But that certainly hasn't tempered his excitement with his new potential job. As he tweets:

That sounds like a stat. A theory would be Sporting Kansas City is using Ocho for publicity. Not everybody is behind Team Ocho, as Green Bay Packer tight end Jermichael Finley tweets:

....and boom goes the dynamite. I applaud Ocho for trying out, and again having fun, but we all know that this is nothing more than a publicity stunt by the team and wide receiver. And if you're the MLS, while it would be great to have Ocho, doesn't it say a lot that Ocho- who hasn't played soccer since his teens- has an actual chance to make this team. That would be like me getting a tryout with the Knicks... oh wait.
Still, Ocho is talking back to the naysayers:
You always expect the negative to come from the outside but it's sad as f_ck when it comes from within,thats some funny sh_t!!!
