DUKE AND NORTH CAROLINA IN CAMERON TONIGHT! IT’S AWESOME WITH A CAPITAL A BABY! DICKIE V GIVE HIS KEYS TO THE GAME!!
At the beginning of the season this matchup looked like a David and Goliath type of a game, but through the course of the season has become a clash of two nationally ranked teams as UNC has gotten past some early season troubles and the injury to Duke super-frosh Kyrie Irving has knocked the defending champs off their perch as the nation’s clear number one team.
Buffalo Bills running-back C.J. Spiller tweets:

Spiller’s not the only NFL player interested, Falcons Pro-Bowl wideout Roddy White tweets that he’ll be at the game too. And he calls it the best rivalry of all time:

Okay I’m ready to leave the minor league of basketball commenting and I think you know what that means. None other than Dick Vitale himself has been tweeting for almost 24 hours already and I’m writing 6 hours from tip-off. Here is Vitale’s rampage of tweets on what I would assume is his favorite night of the year:

So lets sort through the madness that is Dickie V’s tweets. The first two are fairly clear, Dickie V loves him some Cameron Crazies and he thinks the game will come down to Duke’s shooting and UNC’s poise, pretty straight-forward.
Next up, a little back and forth tweeting with ESPN personality Erin Andrews. Andrews responds with a little Twitter imitation of Vitale’s famous enthusiasm as she tweets:

And in classic Dickie V fashion, a little redundancy with only a little new information, Vitale again hits on the importance of UNC’s stars and Duke’s 3-point shooting, but adds that an early lead for UNC would be “vital,” in this match-up of top ACC foes.
So, what does everyone think? Can the recently mortal Blue Devils hold off the surging Tar Heels? My prediction (I’m a Duke fan): Duke 82 UNC 74
