THE ATHLETES’ TAKE ON THE NBA PLAYOFFS

Some NBA players are lucky enough to still be playing this time of year.  But those who aren't, are lucky enough to...sleep till 3:00 PM everyday...watch Keeanu Reeves' movies all day... and, of course, tweet about the NBA playoffs.  There ya go.  Athletes from all backgrounds tried to get their two cents in about the game.

Michael Oher- the inspiration for "The Blind Side" (and starting OT for the Baltimore Ravens), shared his allegiances with the Twitter-verse (it's a word):

Let's go Boston!

WNBA superstar Candace Parker, sister of Cleveland Cavalier Anthony Parker and wife of Boston Celtic Shelden Williams shared her thoughts on the match-up.  Of course, her husbands' Celtics knocked out her brothers' Cavs.  (Does anybody else want to be there for that awkward family July 4th bar-b-que?)  Still, Candace shared her thoughts on the series:

Love dat Cs skippd shoot arounds this year. 2 many coaches worry bout the other team way too much. Focus on YOUR team

But give Candace credit- she like everybody else has a soft spot for Dwight Howard:

@dwighthoward is a FOOL! Lol that was a nice segment he always has been funny.....

Boxer and Olympian Andre Berto took the high road in his assessment of the hated Celtics (and by hated I mean by me.....

Come on Magic tighten up don't let that ugly Celtics green do that on home court. Damn COME ON!!!

.......and Andre Berto.

Here's to hoping the Magic pull a bunny out of their hat...or learn how to make a field goal sometime soon.
