Athletes and Celebrities value their privacy. Or so they say. Sometimes. You know, when it's convenient for them. Some, like Chad Ochocinco and Chris Cooley, love fan interaction, and constantly update their twitter/blog to connect with the fans. But few, if any, have gone as far as Duke's now-national championship point guard (and Jew) Jon Scheyer did last night:
Hollerrrrr at me!!! 8479708498!
That's right. Jon Scheyer- Duke educated Jon Scheyer- thought it would be a good idea to give out his number on Twitter for people to call. Granted, Scheyer doesn't have the following of Ashton Kutcher, but at the same time, people love to hate Duke and you can make sure all the phone messages he got weren't of the polite kind.
Ok my fault... Holler at me over twitter... Stop texting that number pleaseeee
Well, you have to give him credit for quickly realizing his mistake. With that said, it was pretty cool of him to be so open with the fans. You may hate Duke and all things related to Duke, but at the end of the day, this was just a young kid living in the moment (virtually of course!) and doing something before he thought. No big deal.
Just like this tweet from Scheyer:
Yankees suck
Yup. Just one more Dukie out to make lots of friends.
