BIG EAST GETS BIG RESPONSES

BIG EAST GETS BIG RESPONSES

The Big East tournament is known as the most-intense of all the conference tournaments in college basketball.  That, or the New York media has done a good job of convincing us of this.  As a college kid studying my picks for the actual tournament, I'm watching the conference tournaments with great some interest.  Well, me and some pretty high-profile athletes.

Ravens star running back and Rutgers alum Ray Rice showed his school spirit...by rooting on 'Cuse.

Just left Madison square garden Syracuse lost but it was a good game.

Yes kids.  Syracuse can lose AND it can be a good game at the same time.  You just learn something new everyday.

Thomas Howard asked his friend and (current) teammate Kirk Morrison for his thoughts on the Big East

Who you think is gonna win the Big East tournament?

Not these guys.

Morrison responded:

T I got to roll with West Virginia or Villanova now

Former Mountaineer Steve Slaton made no secret of who he likes:

watching the big east tourney and rooting on the mighty mountaineers tonight!

I'm sorry, but who doesn't hear the word "mighty" and think of everyone's favorite bad-guy stoppers.

Actual Syracuse alum (take note Ray Rice) Keith Bulluck wasn't particularly happy with his team's effort today.

HOYA SAXA! Holla New Yorkers The Cuse is done! @kbull53 my bad homey dem Dogs got it done!<-Hoyas wanted it more 2day

damn the cuse got they ass beat already?? Hahaha<--- hahaha kats is take'n shots early. Damn #Cuse!!!

#Cuse let me down today, Seriously the fellas got 2 get it 2gether. Negative momentum heading int NCAA Tourney. #LetsGoOrange

And this probably isn't a guy I want to piss off.  I think the scariest thing about the video is just how happy he seems.  Or the four arms he has.  Weird.

So who's going to win the Big East tourney?  I always pull for St. John's, and they basically always lose.  So I'm going to go with West Virginia...unless they lose.  Then Georgetown.  Just not Syracuse.  Not again.
