SAN DIEGO CHARGERS’ MARCUS MCNEILL TRASH TALKS OWN TEAM

Marcus McNeill, Offensive Tackle for the San Diego Chargers, is excited now that he and his team are officially in playoff contention.

He notes that without the support of his Charger loving, twitter following fans, this momentous event would be about as special as, well, a pile of garbage.

McNeill tweeted:

thx for all u guys support out there. this wouldnt b special w/o yall

Well thanks for the kudos, Marcus. Us fans do tend to make it pretty special, you know, with our loud cheering and jersey number 21 wearing selves and all.

One grateful tweet just doesn't cut it for Mr. McNeill. For every appreciative tweet, there is apparently a ridiculous analogy as its counterpart.

McNeill then went on to tweet:

every trash can gets a steak.. keep grindin

I’m pretty sure that McNeill just analogized that the trash can is the San Diego Chargers and the steak is the playoff contention. Ouch. Analogy gone wrong.

Stick with blocking for the Quarterback, Marcus, and leave the witty analogies to me.

Here is one that can be taken literally, and doesn't need interpretation:

Every trash can gets one of Marcus McNeill’s metaphors.
