Welcome to THE WEEKLY JOCK-SCRAP: a collection of pics and videos from around TheJockosphere, the best-of-the-best, the strangest-of-the-strange (and sometimes the worst-of-the-worst) to create a weekly "Jock Scrapbook" bits and pieces that your favorite (and not-so-favorite) athletes shared throughout the week.

This week... we're gonna take the obvious (meaning easy) route and make this a Halloween themed Jock-Scrap.  You'll see costumes, creepy crawlies, and some plain old scary pictures.

We start with something that would certainly cause an involuntary bladder release should I ever see it person.  A 7 foot 2 inch man, dressed as Dracula.  Check out Kareem Abdul-Jabbar in his Halloween costume.  Does it surprise anyone that he's hanging out with Hef?

Which of these next two pictures is scarier to you? Natalie Coughlin's tarantula sighting, or an advertisement for a Chad Ochocinco daycare?

Yuck! Apparently Big Sur has a lot of tarantulas. This one interrupted our breakfast. I hate spiders!

Guard for the WNBA's Minnesota Lynx, Renee Montgomery, probably should not have posted or even commented on the picture below.  It's certainly something I didn't need to see, but obviously feel the need to share.  Truly scary/disturbing/gross.  Warning!! This may not be safe for work! (I'm actually not joking.  I did learn something interesting of note.  Just because you delete something from TwitPic it doesn't mean it actually goes away.  So be careful with what you post, please)

Finally we end this Halloween themed Jock-Scrap with a video of  dog scared of his new toy.  We shouldn't be all that surprised that the dog is less than ferocious.  The dog is owned by a kicker...for the Carolina Panthers...who's from England...who's nickname is "Winston Churchill."   Poor dog never stood a chance.
