Some people love the 140 character limit of twitter. It keeps things short and to the point. A link to an article with a brief description, or possibly a random thought describing something you are doing. It has its drawbacks though. It has created a language without vowels and crazy shortened words. Today though Daryl Morey, GM of the Houston Rockets, found another bad thing about the 140 character limit.
He tweets:
Just added myself to the http://wefollow.com twitter directory under: #houston_texas #sports #basketball #nba #houstonrockets #anal
Please tell me you caught that! No? Read it all again. Focus on the categories he has added himself to.
He quickly realizes what happens and posts a correction/explanation/excuse:
the automated Twitter post wefollow sent should obviously have been #analytics but was cut off. glad everyone got a laugh, however
So are we Daryl. Thanks.
