Welcome to THE WEEKLY JOCK-SCRAP: a collection of pics and videos from around TheJockosphere.  Throughout the week, I'll be rounding up the best-of-the-best, the strangest-of-the-strange (and sometimes the worst-of-the-worst) to create a weekly "Jock Scrapbook" (now the name makes sense, right?) of the bits and pieces that your favorite, and not-so-favorite, athletes shared throughout the week.

For our first ever post in the series, we start off with some of the good things that athletes do:

It's not often we hear about the charity work and the time stars spend giving back to the community.  But so many of them do.  And it really does make a difference.  Even something as simple as a visit to a hospital dedicated to helping children with life-threatening diseases.

This week Reggie Bush took some time to visit St. Jude Children's Cancer Research Hospital in Memphis, TN, where he made a new friend, Anna.

Not all of the pics posted around TheJockosphere are give ya that warm fuzzy feeling. Some are just outright strange.

Finally, we end the week in review with the not so smooth song stylings (and self-deprecating video) that New Orleans Hornets rookie, Darren Collison, posted on his blog.

I know some of u have been laughing at my "single ladies" video from fan day that my teammates made me do...hopefully Beyonce wasn't offended by my rendition, but I do know I better stick 2 my day job lol!!!
