Vick Is Back… NFL Players Say What?

Michael Vick signed a 1 year contract with the Philadelphia Eagles and NFL twitter nation blew up.  Players from all over chimed in and many were excited to see Vick back in the league.

Nick Barnett was nice and simple, albeit seemingly confused:

Vick heading to the city of Brotherly Love means the Eagles now boast arguably the fastest offense in the league and players were quick to point out how dangerous Vick still is.

Terrell Owens, for one, takes it as an opportunity to take a shot at Ron Jaworski:

The general consensus amongst NFL players that tweeted was "good luck" Vick.  However, Reggie Bush took the chance to not only congratulate Vick, but also raise an important ideological question. Reggie postulates:

I think it's great the Mike Vick has signed with the Eagles! Everyone deserves a second chance! The only person who can judge us is God...

But there was more: Question of the day: do you guys think Mike Vick was over punished?

I believe we live in a world full of double standards! Why is it wrong to fight dogs but legal to hunt birds, deer, moose, fish, etc?

Vick  served his time in prison and now has be given a second chance to play in the NFL.  Others are hoping for the same kind of acceptance back into the league:
