John Thornton: “Best Postseason Ever”
John Thornton, for one, is enjoying the NBA postseason.
Yesterday, he writes in his blog:
For those of you not digging this years NBA Playoffs, you must be living under a rock...Every game is a must see event. The players are behaving themselves, they look good on the sidelines in their custom suits, and there are legitimate superstars on every team. Players have legit skills now. The mid range jumper is back, and guys are playing defense too. Old school fans can't complain about the lack of passion and lack of pure skills in today's game.
He even goes so far as to say that this may be "the best postseason ever." And along with his post, he includes a photo of Kobe and King James -- just so we know to what players he alludes when he discusses these players and their legit skills.
As if we didn't.
