Dwight On LeBron: “A Heck Of A Shot”

Sometimes, you've just got to give credit where credit is due.  A fact that is apparently not lost on Dwight Howard.  In his most recent blog entry, he writes about LeBron James and his epic buzzer beater, saying:

I played with LeBron in the Olympics and I've seen him do some crazy things, but that was the sickest of them all. I mean, that was a tough, tough shot. Turk played great defense, did all he could do really, and LeBron just made a heck of a shot.

In the event that you've been living in a cave under the ocean or that you so enjoyed watching King James make basketball look like ballet that you want to see it yet again, here it is:

Dwight acknowledges that it "would have been huge" to be up 2-0 on Cleveland's court, but he's not going to dwell.  He's ready to lick his wounds and get back in the fight:

My man, Bron Bron, hurt us with that shot, but ya'll know we'll be back from that. We always bounce back whether it's in the middle of games or after tough losses.  We'll be at home now, and we'll be there to win these next two games. We still think we have the talent and the team to win this series, and one loss -- make that one shot -- hasn't changed our minds about that.

Good.  Then, presumably, you won't mind if we show that shot again.
