Nobody Goes There Anymore

Nobody Goes There Anymore

Oprah tweeted the town red yesterday.  And while some big name jocks -- like Shaquille O'Neal and Michael Phelps -- were all atweet when they first learned of her arrival, others were more in a twit.

For example,  John Thornton seems to feel that the underground club that once was twitter is rapidly evolving into a high school dance with a bad band and too many chaperons.

In the most recent entry of his blog, "All Pro Blogger," John writes, "It's almost like if your parents started listening to your records when you were younger, you would like those records less and less."  Sort of like when your parents open up that facebook account.  And then they friend you.

John also says, "I know she is a big deal and all, but with each passing day, Twitter is becoming less and less 'cool.'...when everyone is doing it, not cool."

Like Yogi Berra once said:  "Nobody goes there anymore; it's too crowded."
