In the latest entry of his blog, Tommy Lasorda gives an unbelievably boring account of his recent dinner with Hall of Fame pitcher and Senator Jim Bunning. (The post is a pure worship piece and reads like it was lifted from Bunning's Wikipedia page.)
Tommy's fond of the senator. But not quite so fond, perhaps, as he was of his meal ‑ the details of which he recalls with vivid clarity: "hot slaw, fried chicken, meat loaf, cheese mashed potatoes and all the fixings."
Sounds like Tommy's off the Slim Fast.
